Bat-ulls

Today's post is late and short because I have a helluva lot of stuff to do. Sorry.

Battles is a "math-rock" band from NYC. They make sweet instrumental music that is full of twists and turns, and a little bit of funk. They also freakin rock out. The last time they came to Austin, they blew out the power at Emo's. That just never happens. You can recognize Battles by their ridiculous drummer and his outrageously high-placed crash cymbal:
